The Red Cross is "encouraging people to get ready for the potential big freeze in the next few months".
The Red Cross reports that "last year’s severe weather caused real disruption to thousands of lives, but the good news is that it’s easy to make sure you’re prepared for the worst – by preparing a basic ‘grab bag’ for use in emergencies."
