 Free 'Danger' display card from the HSE

Get free copies of the A5 colour 'Danger' display card, relevant to your sector, from the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). The 'Danger' display card will remind your staff of actions they can take to help prevent slips, trips or falls from height. You can request up to five copies of the display card.

Agency worker seriously injures arm

Steven Jones, 28, was working at Romtech Limited's Cannock site on 2 February 2009 when his arm became trapped by a rotating drill. Romtech Ltd pleaded guilty to breaching Regulation 11(1) of the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 and Regulation 3(1) of the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999. The company was fined £20,000 for each of the two breaches and ordered to pay costs of £7,401.

Trailer runs over farm worker

A 55-year-old Polish farm worker wash rushed to hospital after he was run over by a trailer. The man was discharged from the hospital after two hours of treatment.
