The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) has published this years' ten most bizarre health and safety bans or restrictions spotted in media coverage.
This is just the latest step in the HSE's efforts to 'put the record straight' about health and safety.
What has been good to see is that the media have been quick to report the HSE's statements - a selection of these can be seen through the links below. Maybe the negative media coverage stating that various activities were 'banned for health and safety reasons' will become less common in future. We can only wait and see (and keep sharing positive stories about health and safety!).
