Men to appeal blast deaths sentence
Alpha Fireworks owner Martin Winter, 52, and his 25-year-old son Nathan, jailed over the deaths of two firemen killed by a huge blast at a firework company are to appeal. A date for the appeal hearing has yet to be set.
Firm fined over injured joiner
Scotia Homes (North) Ltd has been fined £4,000 after an apprentice joiner injured his head and legs in a fall from the first floor of a new-build house on which he was working.
