Man injured in farming accident

A man is in a critical condition following a farming accident when he was working alone on a farm in Derbyshire.

Buncefield depot staff 'not trained properly'

St Albans Crown Court was told that the explosion at the depot on 11 December 2005, happened after vapour from 250,000 litres of petrol started to spill out from the top of one of the tanks. The court heard workers didn't receive the support they needed to do the job while they were under pressure to ensure the tanks were filled to the top.
